In a White and Yellow Kitchen, a Window
In a white and yellow kitchen,
a window looking east
at the sleeping woman,
a series of mountain contours:
her face, her breasts, her belly,
her thighs lifting. On the window sill, a Neptune
action figure; the gunshy god
holds his trident in a stance
as though to set out
for the voluptuous woman
undulating under a pink
and orange sky.No variations on his resolution
to face east, to leave the sea
for the gorgeous goddess
made of earth.
