An American Murder

My partner did not like to know about death. I was using the First Amendment in Italy to speak of it. The First Amendment, which did not exist there, is significant to both of us. To me, significant to utter the thoughts preceding death. To him, significant post-death, in a matter like Charlie Hebdo, I think. But when I use the First Amendment to tell him I have these thoughts, he becomes upset.
