Paul Kloppenborg is 38 years old and lives in Melbourne, Australia. He is married with 2 children and works at a university library. His poetry is featured in several web sites and in many e-zines around the world, including Recursive Angel, Conspire, Zuzu's Petals Quarterly, Lexicon and others. In addition, Paul participates in 3 internet poetry workshops (one with over 100 members and an advanced workshop with 20 members).
The poem "Cliche" is basicly a riposte to poems that dwell on common phrases to depict universal feelings. By saturating the reader with over-used expressions, I was seeking to, perhaps, create something "fresh". "14 reasons" is a surreal love/hate story, pure and simple.
