He was on his way to Japan when they dropped the bomb on Hiroshima. On Nagasaki. Didn't see a day of fighting. He seems pleased as punch about that. Tickles him pink. Like he got one over on the sonsabitches.

Bedtime Story

If the film were being made today, the rest of its footage would be devoted to man's inhumanity to woman, with a sympathetic male character thrown in or at least an opportunity in the script for the misogynistic (but irresistible) male lead to redeem himself by raising his consciousness under the loving but firm guidance of his better half.

What I know for sure
