Modern Astronomy

by J.T. Chan

Modern Astronomy

Like Jovian satellites
in Galileo's time,
you were a half-mystery.

Looking through a telescope
of my own invention,
I struggled to plot
your precise orbital periods.

Now, in a world with gravity
and other discoveries,

you are just four
of the sixteen moons.
