Peter and Leah

by Dan Moyer

Peter and Leah

She said he's a nowhere man, going nowhere fast
He said he's already there and wants it to last
She said he's stuck between a rock and a hard place
He said I am the rock that built this place
He said loose lips sink ships and names will never hurt me
She thought loose hips quell quips and shame will soon desert me
He said I wear the pants; I am the king of my castle
She went out for one last dance; fuck the pain and the hassle
